The Vietnam Silver displays metallic silver-blue legs and carapace, accented with golden or orange setae, creating a luxurious two-tone effect that intensifies with each molt. It is a stunning, rare, and challenging species that combines beauty with fascinating behavior. Its fossorial habits, and arboreal capabilities make it a standout in any collection, but it requires careful husbandry and respect for its defensive nature. Like other Asian tarantulas, it lacks urticating hairs and relies on speed, defensive displays, and potent venom as primary defense mechanisms. Most specimens strongly prefer retreating to the safety of their burrow rather than standing their ground, but they can react with remarkable speed when startled.
