This stunning arboreal Tarantula appears purple as an adult,. The adorable blue spiderlings resemble those of A. versicolor and A. letae with its striking appearance, gentle temperament, and rarity. In its natural habitat, it resides in silken retreats made of webs tucked beneath the bark and in the hollows of trees within the humid rainforests of Ecuador.
